1. What the current website offers
The website introduces the upcoming Hotnot project. Descriptions, previews, dates and planned features are informational and may change during development. You can currently:
- request one email announcement when Hotnot is ready,
- separately express interest in possible future testing,
- send the operator a message through the contact form,
- browse public information and set your theme or optional analytics preferences.
The public website currently offers no dating profiles, chat, games, ads, user content publishing or contact between users. These features are only descriptions of the planned product.
2. No contract for the future service is formed
Browsing the website, submitting the signup form, confirming your email or expressing interest in testing does not create a contract for a future dating or digital service. It creates no reservation, preorder, entitlement to launch by a particular date, right to a user account or right to admission to testing.
No payment is made on the pre-launch website, no subscription is created and you do not provide personal data in exchange for access to a digital service. Therefore an ordering or paid-service withdrawal process does not currently apply here. If we later offer a beta test or Hotnot itself, we will present separate terms, community rules, any pricing information and current personal data information before entry. You will be able to assess and accept these separately.
3. Signup, confirmation and unsubscription
To receive an announcement you must enter your email, consent to this specific purpose and complete verification in two steps: open the confirmation email link, then click “Confirm email” on the page. Opening the link alone does not confirm signup. The single launch announcement may be a marketing communication promoting Hotnot; it will not become an ongoing newsletter. Testing interest is another voluntary purpose with separate consent; an invitation or related offer may also be a marketing communication, but solely for this narrowly defined purpose. If you select both purposes, one shared link opens the confirmation page and clicking its button activates both separate records. Without completed confirmation we do not include your address among confirmed contacts.
You can withdraw each purpose at any time. Separate links for selected purposes are already in the confirmation email and the relevant link will be in each later message. A link cancels only its own purpose; the other separately confirmed purpose remains active. To cancel both purposes or if you lack the relevant link, write through the contact form or to info@hotnot.cz. Details of data removal are in our personal data processing information.
Signup for both launch announcements and testing is only for people aged 18 or over. The form requires confirmation and a legal guardian’s consent does not replace this age requirement. This confirmation is neither identity verification nor a promise of participation in testing.
4. Safe use rules
Use the website lawfully and without harming the operator or others. In particular, you must not:
- enter someone else’s email without their authorisation, impersonate another person or knowingly provide false information,
- bypass email confirmation, Turnstile, rate limits, administration access controls or other security measures,
- automatically flood forms, send spam, test vulnerabilities without prior consent or disrupt website availability,
- send malware, threats, unlawful content or content infringing third-party rights,
- enter passwords, identity document copies or sensitive personal data unnecessary for handling your message into the contact form.
We may reject an individual request, temporarily restrict access or delete a related record where reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect security or comply with a legal obligation. This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. Availability and project changes
We aim for safe and clear operation but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, flawless email delivery or implementation of every described feature. We may temporarily restrict the website for maintenance or a security incident and may change, postpone or end the planned project. If the project does not launch, we will not use signup data for another purpose and will delete it according to the published retention periods.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the operator’s liability or consumer rights to an extent prohibited by applicable law.
6. Website content and rights
The name, graphics, text, source code and other website content are protected by the relevant rights of the operator or its providers. Normal browsing and sharing links is permitted. Without authorisation you may not claim the content as your own, sell it, create a misleading copy of the service or remove rights notices.
If you send an idea or feedback in a contact message, you retain rights to your original content. Sending it alone creates no obligation to use or reward the idea or keep it confidential unless expressly agreed in advance. Please do not send trade secrets or protected third-party content.
7. Personal data and technical services
Personal data processing, double opt-in, separate unsubscription by purpose, retention periods, Cloudflare Turnstile, optional Google Analytics and exercising your rights are described in the Information about personal data processing.
You can enable or reject optional analytics at any time using . Rejection does not affect signup, contact or access to content.
8. Contact, governing law and changes to the terms
For questions, complaints about operation of the pre-launch website or security reports, write to info@hotnot.cz. Include only information needed to handle the matter.
Czech law applies to use of this website. This does not affect mandatory consumer rights provided by the law of the consumer’s habitual residence in the European Union, or their right to bring proceedings before the competent court under applicable law.
We will publish the current terms at this address. Changes apply prospectively and do not by themselves extend previous consent or create a contract for the future service. If a change materially affects an existing signup, we will follow applicable law and, as necessary, inform you appropriately or request new consent.
